Students are required to wear our school uniform which engenders a strong sense of belonging and identity. The correct uniform must be worn in school, at school events and activities, and on the way to and from school. Students who do not have the correct full uniform should bring a note from home explaining the reason.
Our judgement is final in all issues relating to uniform. Please ensure that all uniform, PE kits and bags are clearly named.

COMPULSORY UNIFORM
- Blazer: dark green with school badge.
- Tie: green striped.
- Shirt: plain white, buttoned to collar, long/short sleeved (no t-shirts / sports shirts).
- Trousers: plain black tailored (no chinos, jeans, lycra, leggings, low waist etc.).*
- Socks: plain black or white with tailored trousers / summer shorts / skirts. No knee high socks.
- Tights: plain black 40 denier or natural-coloured tights worn with skirts
- Skirt: green kilt, knee length.**
- Coats: plain, dark coloured coats (no hoodies, sweatshirts, denim or leather coats).
- Hairstyles: appropriate for school and not extreme i.e. colour, style or length.
- Shoes: plain black upper/sole leather/leatherette.
OPTIONAL UNIFORM
- Jumper: optional v-neck plain black jumper that allows school tie to be visible.
- Short-sleeve Shirt: plain white with school crest and school tie.

- Shorts: tailored black shorts.*
- Jewellery: wristwatch and one small plain stud earring only (nose piercings must have clear stud).
UNIFORM FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION
- House sports shirt: house colour with school logo. (Montgomery blue, Austen red, Spenser yellow).
- 1/4 zip sports top: black/green.
- Shorts/Skort: plain black (no stretch lycra, athletic, gym, dance style allowed).
- Trainers: non-marking soles.
- Football socks: plain colour.
- Sports bag: personal choice/style (not plastic; please ensure name is clear inside.)
- Towel: personal choice/style.

Please note: Students may choose to wear skorts or sport jogging/tracksuit bottoms. Students will be informed if and when football boots are required for Physical Education lessons, or matches. Mouth guards are compulsory for participation in both hockey and rugby and we recommend that these are moulded by an orthodontist.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
We advise students to wear aprons for lessons in Technology, Art and Science. These will be provided. Goggles or eye shields will also be provided when required in Technology and Science lessons.
