What is 'remote learning'?
Remote learning refers to the delivery of curriculum provision for students unable to attend school due to school closures or restrictions on attendance, or where school access for students is restricted.
Remote Learning is not the same as 'home learning', set for all students. For information on home learning, please click here.
Whole cohort remote learning provision
In the event of a partial or full school closure, students working from home will be issued tasks through Satchel One.
Students should log in to Satchel using their normal school email address and password.
Login = username@eggars.hants.sch.uk. Password = normal school password.
Teachers will share work for the classes they would normally teach each day using the flexible task type.
Students should complete work following their normal timetable.
If students have any questions about the tasks set, they should contact their teachers via email or through the chat facility in Satchel.
Teachers may direct students (via Satchel) to MS Teams for the lesson. This can be accessed using the link above, or by clicking here. Logins are the same as Satchel.
In the event of an extended school closure, live lesson content will be delivered using MS Teams. More details will be shared if this is needed.
