What is 'remote learning'?
Remote learning refers to the delivery of curriculum provision for students unable to attend school due to school closures or restrictions on attendance, or where school access for students is restricted.
Remote Learning is not the same as 'home learning', set for all students. For information on home learning, please click here.
Whole cohort remote learning provision
In the event of a partial or full school closure, students working from home will receive tasks through Arbor Assignments. Some teachers may also direct students to access work via Microsoft Teams.
Teachers will share work for the classes they would normally teach each day, and students should complete tasks according to their normal timetable.
If students have any questions about the tasks set, they should contact their teachers via email or the chat feature in Teams.
In the event of an extended school closure, live lessons will be delivered using Microsoft Teams. Further details will be provided if this becomes necessary.
