We are a community of parents and staff working (formally PTA) together to help every Eggar's student thrive - through connection, giving time and collective support.
At Eggar’s Together, we support our school community in 3 key ways:
Creative Fundraising
We’ve become a vital source of funding support for the school. Each year, teachers submit department bids to help bring their ideas to life—whether it's equipment, engaging experiences, or vital subject resources. Through fun, community-driven events, we raise funds that directly enhance students' experiences through these requests —providing the essential extras that make a real difference.

Creating Moments That Matter
From the Year 7 Disco to Colour Runs to Mega Eggar’s Easter, we support events that spark joy, build connection, and create a sense of belonging - helping every student feel included and valued.
Securing Grants
Each year, we secure over £10,000 in grant funding to support projects aligned with the school’s goals. These grants unlock exciting opportunities for students—recent successes include new guitars, a laser cutter for DT, and cookers for Food Tech.
CASE STUDY: CLASS SET OF GUITARS
"Thanks to the collective effort of Eggars Together—including parents who helped write the bid— we secured a full class set of guitars—an exciting boost for music at Eggar’s. These guitars are used weekly by our Year 7 and 8 students and also benefit our GCSE musicians. For our passionate class music teachers, having the right equipment is vital to inspire a love for music-making. These instruments are more than tools—they're a ‘leg up’ that helps foster ensembles, energise lessons, and nurture a lifelong passion for music in every student. Having parents able to support and write a bid like this makes a real difference to what our students experience in the classroom."
