TEABAG Update
The Education And Book Appeal Ghana (TEABAG) have been working hard with Eggar’s over the last few months. The generous donations of football boots and kit have not just come from the school community but from multiple charities and businesses as well.
TEABAG was set up to support the education of young people in Ghana by providing basic equipment, books and educational facilities. We are very proud to support this charity and the new TEABAG wall unveiled last month reflects the work and the strong partnership we have made.
We have 25 Year 10 students heading out to Ghana on Wednesday 01 February with 4 members of staff, and each will carry an extra case brimming with donations. The fundraising efforts, including staff netball matches and non-uniform days in 2022, will continue this year with more activities already scheduled in the school calendar.
We will keep you all updated on Twitter in the coming days and weeks as we prepare for this most exciting experience and opportunity of a lifetime. You can learn more about the TEABAG charity here: http://www.teabagcharity.org.uk/
