The second in our series on new members of staff, here's a quick Q&A with Mrs Lucas.

• Where did you teach/work before coming to Eggar's? 
St Crispin's in Wokingham.

• First memory of teaching? 
Always wanting to do more maths ...

• First impression of Eggar's?
Friendly.

• What's the best thing about teaching? 
Getting to know the students.

• What is your favourite food?
Macaroni Cheese or Marmite.

• What is your favourite animal and why?  
Chickens! I have three: Chickira, Ariana Grandlay and Cardi Beak.

• When you’re not being a teacher, what do you do? 
Run, read, knit, crochet, zumba, garden.

• What was the last book you read? 
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. 

• If you were a tree, what kind would you be and why?
An oak tree, dependable and slightly on the old side.

• Any other interesting facts?   
My next group of chickens will have Star Wars themed names, as long as I can narrow the list of names down!  I am also a huge 'Take That' and Gary Barlow fan.
