Ever wanted to learn the saxophone or the guitar or….?
We have spaces available for Year 7 and 8 students to learn a musical instrument and there is a special deal for the summer term!
For the second half of the term, students can receive lessons for the discounted price of just £40, which will entitle them to a weekly 25-minute lesson with one of our visiting expert music teachers. There is no commitment to continue in the autumn term (but we hope they will!), but it is an opportunity to inspire more students to learn an instrument.
We have spaces available for both vocal and all instruments, as detailed on the application form below. In particular, we are looking for more woodwind and brass players and have instruments ready to use on loan at no extra charge! We are particularly keen to receive applications for flute, clarinet, saxophone, cornet, trombone and French horn, but welcome all applications regardless of the instrument of choice.
This offer is for new music students only and is not available to existing musicians.

Do the Maths! Year 10 students Libby, Evie, Jess and Cali took up the Alton School Maths Challenge this week. Working with four future Eggar's students from Bentley School, they tackled three rounds of very difficult problem-solving maths. They were fantastic ambassadors https://t.co/onVvrb3qcJ 10:18 PM - 25 Jun 2022

It's Fri-YAY and we're celebrating Matt D and his performance at the National Schools Biathle last weekend. He was placed 2nd in the Year 7 Boys race. (Biathle is an event that can involve a runswimrun course, or simply a swimrun course). #SoundsExhausting #GoMattGo https://t.co/pIe7RXQUpa 6:00 PM - 24 Jun 2022
