We ran a ‘Charity Food Collection’ between November 29 and December 10, supporting the Alton Foodbank and Alton Community Cupboard. Students donated items such as tinned meat and vegetables, coffee and pasta; placing them on their 'House' table in the foyer.

As a school, we felt it is more important than ever to help make a difference to local families who may be struggling. We were blown away by the generosity of our school community: Eggar’s donated 239.1kg of food and household goods!

A large cohort of our Year 10s went to Elkolet on Thursday to help the with the mammoth task of packing up Christmas food parcels for the local community. They really made us proud, working as a team and demonstrating a real sense of public spirit.
