What happened to Ruth Ashdown?
There was a real sense of mystery at the Butts Primary School when our amazing History Department ran a Victorian Day for their Year 5s. The children had to complete a murder mystery challenge: What happened to Ruth Ashdown? They did a treasure hunt to find key pieces of evidence.
All the children and teachers were in full Victorian dress to get into the spirit of the day! The Year 5s were extremely inquisitive and had some excellent theories. The day provided a great picture of what Victorian Britain would have been like.
