A very special delivery ...
Cunningly disguised as Site Manager, Dave Webb and our new mini bus driver Paul Robinson, SANTA has been out delivering hampers today to over 20 guests who would normally have come to our annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party. Their names were drawn out of a (Christmas) hat which contained all of our previous Party guest names. Each of the lucky winners was telephoned to check their addresses and the best time for delivery.
Hampers were filled with non-perishable food goodies donated by students and staff. The whole project was completed under strict COVID-19 safety rules.
All 100+ guests from last year’s party were also sent a special Eggar’s Christmas card. We hope Eggar's brought some cheer to Alton's senior citizens in these far from normal festive times.

Leadership. Teamwork. Fun! Last Friday Lt Commander Russ Haines from the Royal Navy led a fabulous training day for our student leadership team. Their mobile training apparatus was very similar to a large scale Meccano set! #WeAreEggars https://t.co/9so2z6EtpV https://t.co/IIcLQgmcpn 4:15 PM - 22 May 2022
