Amazing homework from Year 9
"A daringly intimate glimpse into a secluded world of fragile dependency" is how the professional choreographer James Cousins describes his contemporary dance piece. This 17 minute dance entitled 'Within Her Eyes' was the basis for an interesting Year 9 home learning homework which produced some really amazing results.
Students were asked to put notes together on the choreographic features of the dance and some of the aspects of the production. They were then challenged to start interpreting the choreographic choices of James Cousins - a really important skill and great preparation for their GCSE in two years.
Congratulations to Year 9 Dance students!
