Year 9s gain new skills and experiences ...
Mr Mann took a group of Year 9 students to Sparsholt today to try their hand at a variety of activities that may lead them to their future career choice. They took part in activities around Agricultural Studies, Animal Management, Equine Studies and Mechanics. These were both varied and engaging for the whole group and they showed incredible effort and great attitude as they tackled learning activities such as how to change a wheel on a car, learning about the skeleton of a horse, and understanding the process of looking after a large amount of livestock.
Rhys has helpfully declared that, once he is a fully qualified mechanic, he will gladly come back and fix Eggar's staff cars (for a small price!)
Congratulations to all 14 students who did so well.
