Eggar's remembers...
The annual Remembrance Day events are a really important part of our calendar.
This year, students proudly represented the school at the annual Holybourne Remembrance Parade on Saturday 9 November. Kieran and Kyle were an absolute credit to the school and themselves, laying the poppy wreath in front of many guests and dignitaries – a solemn and inspirational morning.
At school on Monday there was the moving Last Post and 2 minutes' silence. Students who were Cadets were encouraged to wear their uniforms to school. It underlined the important part the annual Remembrance Day plays in our calendar.
