Five students win at Alton Art Society Annual Exhibition ...
The Alton Art Society held their Annual Exhibition between October 5th and the 13th at the Alton Assembly Rooms. Hundreds of exhibits were on display and all were available for sale.
Almost all local schools had entered artwork and 5 of our students were judged outstanding. Their artwork ranged from pencil portraits to pastel landscapes.
In the Year 7 category, Melanie Hall came 1st and Arthur Whish came 2nd. In the Year 8 category Violet Hall came 3rd. In the Year 10 category, Borre Luijkin came 1st and in Year 11, Mathilda Weston came 2nd.
They were each awarded a voucher for arts materials from Alternative Packaging Solutions and membership to the Arts Society.
Congratulations!
