Question: What do you get when you combine European Day of Languages with the Great MFL Bake Off?
Answer: 67 amazing bakes and cakes from students across the school.
The many excellent entries which were judged by MFL’s version of Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood. Then there was the Great MFL Cake Sale at lunchtime with proceedings given to charity – a win win House Challenge!
The cakes were judged in 11 categories :
- Most cakes made
- Best of British
- Most authentic
- Most technical bake
- Best seller
- Most political
- Most inspired
- Most original
- Cutest
- Most multicultural
- Showstoppers
Each of the winners were awarded 10 ePraise points. There should be a special mention to 7MOV who entered the most cakes!
And by the end of lunchtime not only were there some very full students and staff but also an amazing £256.14 had been raised!
Congratulations to everyone who took part. A fantastic effort!
