Language Leaders do a fantastic job!
On 4 June, a group of Year 9 students from the Eggar's Experience Club Language Leaders, went to Andrews' Endowed Primary School down the road in Holybourne.
Daisy and Anais tell us more:
For the last few months we have been preparing lessons for younger learners and this was our first opportunity to try out our new skills. Two lessons were taught to a Year 4 class and a Year 6 class.
We taught some enthusiastic younger students some basic French. At the same time we strengthened our own French knowledge as well as improving our self confidence, our public speaking skills and leadership.
We hope we will have further opportunities to share our skills with other primary schools. We would highly recommend this club to other students as it provides a fantastic experience.

At this month's Lecture Club, there was some thoughtful debate on the difficult topic of eating disorders. Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten gave a heartfelt account of her own personal experience. https://t.co/swU1qbDbPh #WeAreEggars https://t.co/aX0UzdRXf0 2:36 PM - 19 Jan 2022
