Year 7/8 come so close to top prize
A basketball team from Years 7 and 8 played in the Hampshire Youth Games on June 22. They were amazing all day, winning all 6 pool games convincingly. This ensured a place in the semi-finals which they subsequently won by 10 points.
Kings were our opponents in the Final which was an incredibly close match and it was massively disappointing that the boys lost by a single point, and in over time. They couldn't have played harder!
They did however win plenty of praise from other teachers and volunteers who made a point of complimenting our students on their behaviour, conduct and sportsmanship.
Well done, boys!

Do the Maths! Year 10 students Libby, Evie, Jess and Cali took up the Alton School Maths Challenge this week. Working with four future Eggar's students from Bentley School, they tackled three rounds of very difficult problem-solving maths. They were fantastic ambassadors https://t.co/onVvrb3qcJ 10:18 PM - 25 Jun 2022

It's Fri-YAY and we're celebrating Matt D and his performance at the National Schools Biathle last weekend. He was placed 2nd in the Year 7 Boys race. (Biathle is an event that can involve a runswimrun course, or simply a swimrun course). #SoundsExhausting #GoMattGo https://t.co/pIe7RXQUpa 6:00 PM - 24 Jun 2022
