Congratulations to a future dragon…
Following eight months in the Welsh player pathway, Ben has been promoted to the Hockey Wales National Age Group (NAGs) squad. This is the highest tier of the Welsh Junior Performance programme, providing the players from which the junior international squads are selected.
He is due to attend six residential training camps in Cardiff over the summer and will be eligible for selection to the U16 Wales squad to play Ulster in June and the U15 “Celtic Jaguars” team to play against the English regional squads at the annual Futures Cup tournament in August.
Congratulations Ben!

Leadership. Teamwork. Fun! Last Friday Lt Commander Russ Haines from the Royal Navy led a fabulous training day for our student leadership team. Their mobile training apparatus was very similar to a large scale Meccano set! #WeAreEggars https://t.co/9so2z6EtpV https://t.co/IIcLQgmcpn 4:15 PM - 22 May 2022
