From aspirational students to inspirational alumni ...
Calling all past students! Did you go to Eggar’s? Perhaps you recognise yourself in this school photo from the 1970s?
The Eggar’s School Alumni Association (ESAA) aims to keep everyone in touch, to share experiences, and to highlight how Eggar’s shapes its students’ future lives. We hope to connect or reconnect our former students with news and regular events.
We are seeking former students who can inspire our current generation to academic success and career confidence. Working with the education charity Future First, we want to contact former students in established careers, recent leavers in further education, alumni who live nearby and those who have moved away.
Future First’s vision is that every state school or college should be supported by a thriving, engaged alumni community that helps it to do more for its students. More than 200,000 former students nationwide have already signed up to stay connected with their old school. They are motivating young people as career and education role models, mentors, work experience providers, governors and fundraisers.

Leadership. Teamwork. Fun! Last Friday Lt Commander Russ Haines from the Royal Navy led a fabulous training day for our student leadership team. Their mobile training apparatus was very similar to a large scale Meccano set! #WeAreEggars https://t.co/9so2z6EtpV https://t.co/IIcLQgmcpn 4:15 PM - 22 May 2022
