Year 9 student excels at RS Tera sailing event
Ralph had a very successful sailing campaign this summer and, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, won the RS Tera Pro National Championship. The event was held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the London 2012 Olympics venue. The RS Tera is a single person sailing dinghy geared towards young sailors. There was some great sailing in difficult and challenging conditions and with some extremely close racing in Ralph’s particular category, the Pro Fleet. He sails for Frensham Pond Sailing Club.

Leadership. Teamwork. Fun! Last Friday Lt Commander Russ Haines from the Royal Navy led a fabulous training day for our student leadership team. Their mobile training apparatus was very similar to a large scale Meccano set! #WeAreEggars https://t.co/9so2z6EtpV https://t.co/IIcLQgmcpn 4:15 PM - 22 May 2022
