Welcome to the Year 10 Work Experience information page.
Dates for 2023 will be shared in due course. We will work with a partner organisation EBP South, to organise and manage these placements. EBP South has a database of employers prepared to offer their time and services to facilitate our work experience needs.
EBP provide an online system for finding and applying for work experience placements. Students will be able to use the computer-based database and booking system wherever internet access is available. As well as being able to search and apply for placements at home as well as in school, parents will also be able to track the progress of their child’s application/s.
We believe the experience during this two-week placement, and the subsequent follow-up work undertaken in school after the placement, will be invaluable to a student’s maturation not only as a person, but for their career thought processes. Work experience can contribute to an individual’s development by:
• Increasing motivation to study.
• Clarifying the relationship between the curriculum and the outside world.

Problem of the week! Please do not comment with the solution so other people can work it out too. Instead, like this post if you think you have the correct answer. The solution will be posted in the comments on Thursday at 4pm! Best of luck #UKMT #Problem #Maths https://t.co/p7WvGqGFuc 2:30 PM - 07 Feb 2023
