Year 9 and 10 GCSE dance students watch famous choreographer!
Our students had a fantastic opportunity to go to the beautiful Grange near Alresford to watch performances from the famous choreographer, Wayne McGregor.
Following the success of the first Dance@TheGrange in 2018, Director of Dance and Royal Ballet’s resident choreographer Wayne McGregor returned with two nights of ballet and contemporary dance in the majestic atmosphere of the Grange.
The programme included two new commissions by emerging choreographers Mthuthuzeli November and Alice Topp and featured Company Wayne McGregor with Alessandra Ferri, as well as Ballet Black.
It was an incredible experience and our students couldn't believe their luck at seeing such a maestro at work! Thanks to Mrs Jones for organising the trip.
