We welcome you to our exciting Year 4/5 Discover Programme, launching September 2024!

 

Start your child’s Eggar’s journey this autumn with our fun, exciting and academically stimulating discovery workshops. Eggar’s is a small school with a big heart where every child is known and valued. Relationships are strong between staff and students, creating a happy community of great learners, inspired to discover, to explore, and to grow.

YEAR 4/5 DISCOVER EGGAR'S WORKSHOPS

MONSTERS INK 

11th September – 15:45-17:30pm: Come and design your own monster. Bring your creation to life with words and illustrations.

MINECRAFT MAYHEM 

18th September – 15:45-17:30pm: Get your pickaxes and crafting tables ready for adventure in Minecraft Mayhem!

THE BIG BOUNCE 

25th September – 15:45-17:30pm: Come and enjoy learning new skills and having loads of fun on our trampolines.

DISCOVER WHODUNNIT 

2nd October – 15:45-17:30pm: A murder mystery set in Industrial Britain - can you solve the crime?

GEOGRAPHY ROCKS 

9th October – 15:45-17:30pm: Use clues to navigate a giant orienteering race across our large site, with prizes for the fastest.

MAGICAL MATHS 

16th October – 15:45-17:30pm: Put your problem solving skills to the test with our Magical Maths workshops.

 

All students welcome from 15:30pm for a 15:45pm start. Parents to return at 5.15 to enjoy some refreshments and share what their child has discovered. We also welcome parents to ask for a tour of the school when they drop off or return.
