On Tuesday 7th of November 120 students and their parents joined the PE Department and our special guest, triple Olympian Steph Twell to celebrate last year's sporting achievements. The evening was compered by our House Captains, Kizzy and Sonny, who did a fantastic job of making the evening flow smoothly. The PE staff reviewed the year and announced the players of the season who came on stage to shake hands with Mrs Holman and receive their award from Steph Twell. Students in Year 9 were awarded their Junior Colours and Year 11 students gained their Senior Colours. Three special awards were given to Matt for Individual Sports Person of the Year, Ellie for the Leadership Award and the Under 16 girls hockey team winning Team of the Year.

The evening finished with an inspiring speech from Steph Twell about how sport allows you to belong, aspire and achieve. Thank you to all of the students and parents that attended and a huge thank you to Steph for giving up her time to share her experiences with us.
