Eggar's Quiz with special guest, Alastair Stewart
On Friday 26 June Eggar’s ran its annual Head Teacher’s Quiz with special guest, Alastair Stewart OBE, journalist and ITN newscaster.
100 staff and parents, in teams of 8, battled for the coveted winners’ trophy and the right to be called the brainiest team in school!
Alastair Stewart ran a raffle with a fantastic prize of a family day out at ITN Studios to watch the making of the programme and see it in action.
There was a chilli supper, and a pudding auction, and the PTA raised a whopping £2,000 for the school.
Huge thanks go to Alastair for supporting the school and, of course, to the wonderful PTA who work so hard raising funds for Eggar’s.
The Palatine Hill is the centremost of the Seven Hills of Rome and is one of the most ancient parts of the city. It stands 40 metres above the Roman Forum, looking down upon it and upon the Circus Maximus. From the time of Augustus, Imperial palaces were built here. https://t.co/pOiISv7ogR 3:56 PM - 20 Feb 2019
