Our Year 9 & 10 Spanish students had their long-awaited trip to Andalucía last week. They stayed in a seafront hotel in Fuengirola (near Málaga) for five days. The week was filled with culture-packed activities from flamenco lessons to day trips to Córdoba, Seville and Granada. The trip included a guided tour of the monumental Alhambra palace and a glorious sunny walk through the city centre. The trip truly immersed the students in the Spanish culture and history, as well as having many opportunities to listen to and speak with Spanish locals. We were so proud of students on the trip, how they represented the school and country and how they took every opportunity to learn.
