Virtual Work Experience

Some great online opportunities for Years 10 and 11

One thing that almost all students will sadly miss out on this year is face to face work experience. Springpod offers virtual work experience that is free for students and which they can complete at a time to suit them - receiving a certificate straight from the employer on completion.

To help as many students as possible walk away from 2021 with some form of work experience, that is both recognised and valued by employers and universities, there are 3 opportunities which North West London NHS Trust are offering.

The free virtual work experience programmes all take place in February and each programme lasts two weeks. Students will meet (virtually) NHS professionals, allowing them to ask questions and learn about their day-to day-work.

They will also complete work assignments which will be marked and returned to them. Students can complete the 10 hours of activity at times that suit them, allowing them to fit it round school work easily.

Students will receive an NHS Virtual Work Experience certificate directly from the North West London NHS Trust. This certificate is something they can use on both their CVs and personal statements.
