Due to anticipated high temperatures on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 July, the school will close at 12 noon on both days.  Please see the travel home information provided below:

• If your child uses school transport (Top Marks & Cresta Coaches) we have organised for them to be onsite to take your child/ren home at this time.
• If your child/ren uses any of our taxes (AMK, Wilson, H Cabs) – they will collect students from school at 12:00.
• If your child uses Stagecoach please see the attached timetables for the 64*, 65, 28, 13 and 23 buses.
• Otherwise, please arrange transport, collect your child from Anstey Park, or ensure your child is able to make their own way home.

*Please note that students travelling home on the 64 route can catch a bus from Alton Station at 12:15 or 12:45. Eggar’s minibuses will be available to ferry students from school to the Station as well as Alton High Street for the 12:15 bus. Students travelling on this bus will be permitted to leave class 10 minutes early to catch the minibus to the station.

We will extend our mid-morning break on both days to ensure children have plenty of time to obtain food and a drink.

We advise children, where possible, to wear their House PE kit on both days. Otherwise, they must wear the Eggar’s summer uniform – more information can be found at www.eggars.net/uniform

The current forecast is that the weather will be much cooler on Wednesday and, therefore, we expect to be back to a normal school day for our last day before the school holiday.
