Jacob has well and truly fulfilled the promise he showed in karate when he was in Year 7.  Then he was a double gold European Karate Champion at just 11 years old. Now in Year 9 he has competed in the World Open Karate Championship held at the weekend in Budapest, Hungary.

He returned with World Gold in kata - a system of individual training exercises - and World Silver  in kumite which is freestyle fighting or sparring. Not only that he had the honour of peforming at the referee committee seminar, in front of some of the most recognised instructors in the Wado International Karate-Do Federation.
